On March 8th, 2019 at 1320hours emergency personnel were dispatched to a reported house fire on Upper Road in East Cameron Township, Northumberland County, PA.
Multiple stations were already working a 2-alarm dwelling fire in the city of Shamokin, and many broke free from that incident and responded immediately to the new fire.
Within minutes, the first units arrived on scene advising a working dwelling fire. During the first few minutes of personnel being on the scene, a firefighter went down with an injured shoulder (transported from the scene).
At 1344hours command called for the evacuation of the structure due to rapidly deteriorating conditions (next video).
Crews worked until the last remaining units cleared the scene at 1647hrs (3 hours and 27 minutes from the initial call).
